A lot of time has passed since then, but still, every texture of an update is always replaced by a new one by Sphax. Accordingly, it can be said that Sphax has been working on PureBDcraft since the beginning of 2011. To give you an idea of how long ago that was, the Nether became playable for multiplayer for the first time. Moreover, the texture pack is downloadable for every Minecraft version, because the development started at MC-Beta 1.6. If you get a lot of FPS you can do the opposite and choose a higher resolution. If you find that your PC is too poor and you are getting lags, try a lower resolution. The 128x package acts as a good reference point, as it’s in the middle and is best suited for most computers. PS: Doh! I've just seen the upload attachment area down at the bottom of the post editor. Don't be surprised if this is my last and only submitted texture patch. This was only a temporary first attempt at fixing my own texture pack. Hope this helps for the further completion of the patch pack in 1.4.7 before it's made obsolete when 1.5's FTB finally becomes stable enough.įeel free to do a better job on the textures than I did. A similar restructuring process could be used for the various 128x resolution types found within the archived topic. I merely altered the file structure and stitched a few of the texture files together with GIMP. The archive I linked is an adaptation of the patch posted by Opt1kal in the archived forums here: This probably isn't the place for the patch I made for this specific mod, but I couldn't find another Bibliocraft specific topic. Sorry I can't post my altered textures at this time, but if someone could teach me how (through PM or whatever), I'd be willing to give it a shot.Īnyway, I was able to set up a drop box link here. I was able to use GIMP to do just that somewhat easy to use, free program that works somewhat like Photoshop. I don't know how to host a zip file anywhere or how to post an image, but the process isn't that involved to stitch textures back together the way they are in the default textures from the ones made by others. Most of the BiblioCraft textures from the MC 1.5x version can be restructured into the correct file structure for MC 1.4.7, so one may wish to include such a changed file structure for the MC 1.4.7 version of this patch. As well, I was able to copy the zombie texture from the main pack into the BiblioCraft textures folder. I'll try to respondįor those looking for textures to BiblioCraft in MC 1.4.7, I've been able to rearrange the file structure for the existing textures within the WIP BiblioCraft archived thread fairly easily aside from the bookshelves textures and the tape measure.
